FARGO DTC400 ID CARD PRINTER

The Fargo DTC400 ID Card printer is identical to the DTC300 - it is either single- or double-sided printer - but, unlike the Fargo DTC 300, the double-sided printing module can be added at a later stage. It also offers higher print security than the DTC300 ID card printer thanks to the Ultraviolet print option. In addition, there are more field-upgradeable options available, allowing users to purchase the standard unit and add encoding modules and the duplex printing module as and when required.
The security features include password control of the printer, security imaging (enabling covert ultraviolet features to be added to the card) and printer diagnostics. The 30-card output hopper can be upgraded to a 100-card output hopper. The double-sided printing module includes the 'e-card housing' necessary for the Mifare, HID and contact chip encoding options. The Fargo DTC 400 ID Card printer comes with a one-year warranty on the printer and printhead.
Consumables include the full range of colour and monochrome ribbons (black, blue, red, green, white, silver and gold).
Connection is via USB. Printer drivers include Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 and XP.
